As most of you are aware we had an issue with the start of Age 350.
The issue was caused by a change of code designed to fix the auto-login issues. This was tested, but obviously not enough. This caused an issue where around 25% of the playerbase got negative authority and were unable to be promoted.
In order to investigate this we immediately paused the age by putting it into an "age end" break.
In the following 30 minutes we found the issue, reverted the code to a state before the change.
We managed to not loose the age start and allowed all players to remain in the nation they had chosen or been randomed into. We simply reset everyone back to private in order to have a fresh start.
We then announced that all players would get 1 free Healing Turn and let the age start 1 hour late.
That brings me on to the next issue. We then discovered an issue in the code that awards healing turns for random joining. Anyone who had the 1 HT we awarded then did NOT gain the 2 for random joining. This is a situation we had never had before, so was totally unexpected.
We had to make the decision to remove the 1 free HT from anyone not already in a nation, otherwise you would loose out. It is better for you to have 2 HTs than 1.
Going forwards we will fix this bug so we can correctly give out free HTs in future, but there simply was not time to get it done for the age start.

We mostly manage to patch things without issue, but every now and again things go wrong - this is where we need your patience and kindness. We are already stressed enough and trying to deal with the emergency!
